Guarantees
A bond or guarantee is a commitment, undertaken by the Bank, whose purpose is to guarantee the fulfilment of obligations your company has entered into with third parties (public administrations, suppliers, etc), always with complete:
- Solvency : the guarantees issued by Banco Sabadell have earned a well-deserved prestige both in the national and international markets.
- Speed : we have access to the most advanced resources, which enable us to issue the guarantees your company needs within a short period of time.
Types
There are several types of bonds and guarantees, depending on the characteristics of the secured obligation:
| Commitment of guarantee | This is the Bank's commitment to execute a definitive guarantee at the moment your company requires it. Generally, this type of document is requested by public administrations when deciding upon the granting of a deferment or split payment of a debt contracted by your company. |
| Technical guarantee | This document provides a guarantee in the event that your company fails to comply with its non-financial commitments, such as participation in tenders and auctions, the proper operation of sold machinery, etc. |
| Financial - commercial guarantee | This document guarantees payment for the purchasing of goods, taxes and other concepts, as well as the refunding of amounts received on account by your company for the sale merchandise or the provision of services. |
| Economic - financial guarantee | This document guarantees the repayment of credits, loans, or any other type of credit facilities that your company has or has been granted by any other financial institution. |
Review your guarantees online
WithBS Online Companies, through “View all options” -> “Financing” -> “Guarantees”, you can review the situation and status of both your guarantees and your guarantees facility. This can also be done from the “Overall Position” results screen.
By choosing the “Guarantee Search” option you can use one or more of the available search criteria such as account, guarantee status, amount or date. A list of the guarantees that meet the specified criteria will be displayed.
Review of a single guarantee shows the details of the operation.
Review of granted guarantee facility shows its details and also a complete list of the guarantees issued under the facility. From this list you can access to the full details of any of the guarantees shown.
One of the features available allows the user to view the details of the commissions and charges settled.
Online guarantee application
The menu path “View all options” -> “Financing” -> “Guarantees” -> “Guarantee application” leads to an online form that, once filled in with all the necessary data, will be sent to your SabadellAtlántico branch.
