The documentation required to formalise your Mortgage is as follows:
- Identification:
- Certified copy of a current passport for each applicant
- Copy of NIE for each applicant
- Proof of income:
- If employed:
- Last 3 pay slips (or equivalent)
- Last P60 (or equivalent)
- Letter from employer
- If self-employed:
- Accountant’s letter
- Last 2 year tax return (or equivalent)
- Last 2 years audited accounts (or equivalent)
- If employed:
- General:
- Last 3 months bank statements
- Experian file or equivalent Credit Report
- Additional information to support your application:
- Proof of any other source of income
- Last Mortgage Statement
- Copy of the legal Spanish sales Agreement
- Rent Contract or Valuation of your actual home
- Declaration deed for new building from developer (new building) or property deeds of the current owner (second hand home).
- Private sale-purchase contract or letter containing offer.
- Proof of income tax payments made during the current financial year and declaration of assets (in the case of self-employed or independent professionals).
- N.I.E. (Foreign Resident’s Number).
